Please join us on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 for an event on "Russia in Crisis: Political and Economic Risks in 2016” with Dr. Mikhail Delyagin, who will unpack and explore the current political and economic challenges facing Russia. The event will take place from 2:30-4:00pm, in the MacOdrum Library (room ML 482), on the fourth floor in the Discovery Centre.

Mikhail Delyagin is a Russian author, politician, and economist. Dr. Delyagin had the opportunity to serve as a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, in the Supreme Soviet Council from 1990 to 1991, as well as the Chairman of the Ideological Council of the Rodina political party. Having obtained an economics degree in 1998, Mikhail Delyagin also worked as the Director for the Problems of Globalization institute.
