Drawing on the remarkable economic performance of Poland since 1989, Dr. Marcin Piatkowski analyzes its economic history to provide a new perspective on the future of Poland’s economy. He argues that Poland has just had the best 20 years in its entire history, more than doubling its GDP and becoming the European growth champion. Poland’s successful growth model has become a benchmark for other countries in Europe and beyond. The report presents recommendations for further economic development of Poland and discusses implications of the rise of Poland for the future of Europe.
