About this Event
Host Organization: Healthy Workplace
Eating is a natural, healthy, and pleasurable activity for satisfying hunger. However, in our diet-obsessed culture, eating is often mindless, consuming, and guilt-inducing instead. Many people who struggle with food react mindlessly to certain triggers, thoughts, and feelings they are not aware of. Mindful eating increases your awareness of these patterns and creates space between your triggers and your actions. Mindful eating can be a powerful tool for developing a healthier, happier relationship with food. This presentation will introduce the mindful eating cycle and help you get started on your way to a healthier relationship with food.
Registered Dietitian Cindy Sass will be joining us to present this interesting topic. This information session is part of the Thrive Week series of activities.
