This spring's Leadership Luncheon features Carleton grad Deborah Tunis, BJ/73, Special Coordinator for Syrian Refugee Resettlement at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Join us on May 12 and hear about Deborah Tunis' journey that led her from Carleton University through a forty year career in Canada’s public service working at the National Gallery of Canada, Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Privy Council Office, Human Resources and Social Development Canada on a range of policy issues culminating in her role in the Government of Canada’s initiative to welcome 25,000 Syrian Refugees to Canada in just under 100 days. This national project continues with the support of private sponsors, collaboration between governments and innovations by resettlement service providers across Canada.
