Join us for a day of Discovery!

We’re hosting an eclectic showcase of activities that live up to the philosophy of the Discovery Centre — engagement through learning.

- The Discovery Centre’s 3D Print Club will show-and-tell their articles created on our 3D printers
- Professor Richard Dansereau (Systems & Computer Engineering) will bring his team of 4th year students to demonstrate their 3D-printed robotic arm
- Kristof Avramsson of the Library will show us his wonderful sewing creations that bridge an “old-time” craft with new technology
- The Systems & Computer (SCE) society of students will make their second appearance with their banana-pianos, and other toys from the Emerging Technology Library.
- The Discovery Centre’s Minecraft Club will unveil their model of Carleton’s campus and enlist you to help finish it off.

All Maker communities of Carleton University and the Ottawa community are invited to participate and to attend.
