Sabelo J Ndlovu-Gatsheni, Professor and Chair of Epistemologies of the Global South with Emphasis on Africa of University of Bayreuth in Germany will be speaking on \"The politics of knowledge and the imperative of decolonization in Africa\"

Daniel McNeil, Professor of Africana Studies, Decolonial Studies; Diaspora Studies, Department of History at Carleton University will be a discussant and Shireen Hassim, Canada 150 Research Chair in Gender and African Politics and Professor of African Studies will moderate the seminar.
