Are you a faculty member or graduate student interested in, or already doing, impactful research alongside community partners?
Would you like to make connections with potential mentors and mentees also excited about community-based research?
Do you want to hear from thought leaders and research funders about how community-based research (CBR) makes a difference, and where it needs to be headed, given the critical social, environmental and economic challenges we are facing?
Are you a representative of a community organization seeking to strengthen your connections with Carleton faculty members and students?
Are you a staff member who supports faculty and students with their CBR projects, and want to keep on top of current developments in the field?
Do you have a history of working on 3ci projects, wish to connect with old colleagues, while helping to steer 3ci into the future?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, please join us on the afternoon of October 12! ‘The Future of Community-Based Research’ will feature panels and a participatory process designed to explore where CBR needs to go, to help you build your CBR network, and to talk through your CBR aspirations.
