Submitting an event

Carleton staff and faculty can log in and add events directly through the admin area, just like creating other content on ITS-supported sites. Events must be organized or sponsored by a Carleton entity and include all key details: title, host, date, time, location, description, cost, registration, and contact information.

If your event requires forms, you can either create a form on your own site and link to it, or use the built-in form functionality available on the events site (newly added for convenience). A separate forms tutorial explains both approaches. Questions or issues can be submitted through the ITS Help Centre.

All events must follow the Event Management Standards policy. Please note that Carleton may edit or decline submissions.
