A talk and Q & A by Donna Baines.
Donna Baines is Chair and Professor of Social Work & Policy Studies at University of
Sydney, Australia. Foregrounding voices less heard in academia, her best-selling book, Doing Anti-Oppressive Practice. Social Justice Social Work, is in its third edition (Fernwood, 2017). Baines teaches in the areas of anti-oppressive theory and practice, social policy and managerialism and critical leadership. Baines has published more than 50 articles and views the academic world as just one of many sites for social justice struggles.
