About this Event
Host Organization: Carleton University Alumni Association
The Carleton University Alumni Association invites alumni and friends to join us for a South American dinner and wine tasting at The Barrel Room located in downtown San Francisco.
Carleton faculty member and resident wine historian, Rod Phillips, will guide us in a tutored tasting of six South American wines to accompany the three-course meal prepared by the talented chefs at The Barrel Room. Rod has taught at Carleton since 1989 and gives a popular course on the history of alcohol each year. He has written extensively on the history of wine and other alcoholic beverages and is an international wine judge.
