In this 90-minute professional learning session, Jenni Hayman and Peg French, program managers for eCampusOntario, will provide an introductory-level workshop on what open educational resources (OER) are, where to begin to find them, what the Creative Commons open licenses mean, and province-wide eCampusOntario projects related to open.

Participants are encouraged to bring their questions about the use of open resources in their contexts as instructors, librarians, curriculum developers and technologists.

Jenni Hayman is a long-time researcher, instructional designer and advocate for the use of open educational resources in university contexts. Peg French is an experienced librarian, instructional designer and open advocate in college contexts.
