About this Event

Host Organization: Carleton Office of Research Initiatives and Services
More Information: Please click here for additional details.

The NSERC Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) Program supports the training of teams of highly qualified students and postdoctoral fellows from Canada and abroad through the development of innovative training programs that:

• encourage collaborative and integrative approaches, and address significant scientific challenges associated with Canada’s research priorities;

• facilitate the transition of new researchers from trainees to productive employees in the Canadian workforce.

At this workshop, we will begin with a short overview of the program and requirements. Our panel of successful applicants and review panel members will then provide their insights into how to develop a successful proposal, what the NSERC committee is looking for, and what is involved in running a CREATE program.
