About this Event

Host Organization: Centre for Indigenous Support and Community Engagement

This gathering is being held to help foster connection and kinship among First Nation, Métis, and Inuit colleagues across campus. We recognize that many Indigenous staff and faculty often feel isolated in their respective roles. This event is a small but meaningful step toward building a supportive network, learning more about the incredible work being done by others, and creating space to support one another in community.

Elder Barbara Dumont-Hill will be here to support us during this event. We’ll share a community meal, have opportunities for informal conversation, and close the afternoon with a fun and lighthearted group activity.
