- 2nd Floor, Teraanga Commons, Carleton University
- 1125 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1S 5B6
All Carleton students and grads are encouraged to attend the in-person Winter Career & Networking Fair!
Whether you’re in your first year, graduating, or an alumni, the Career & Networking Fair is your chance to practice networking, learn about employers, and explore opportunities.
Why attend?
- Practice builds confidence: Networking is a skill, and like any skill, it takes practice. The Career & Networking Fair is a professional-but-approachable environment to start conversations, ask questions, and build confidence.
- Explore opportunities: Learn about full-time, part-time, co-op, summer, and future roles. Even if you’re not job hunting now, understanding what’s out there helps you plan ahead.
- Gain insight: Discover what different organizations do, what they value in candidates, and how you might fit in now or in the future. By chatting with a range of employers you can also identify valuable hiring trends.
- Grow your network: Make connections that could lead to mentorship, advice, or future opportunities. Every conversation is a step forward.
- Convenient: Meet a wide range of employers that you would not normally have a chance to speak with, all without leaving campus. Drop in between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. as it fits your schedule (last check-in time is 2:45 p.m.).
If you have any questions about the Winter Career & Networking Fair, or require accommodations for a disability to attend this event, please email careerfair@carleton.ca.
