Do you do research or knowledge mobilization activities in partnership or collaboration with others, especially with external organizations? The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council has funding for that! But what do they mean by “partnership?” What are some of the key things to keep in mind when preparing a partner-based proposal? And when does it make sense to take a project to a partner-based funding stream instead of one of the other options? If you’ve considered a SSHRC Connection, Partnership Engage, or Partnership Development Grant – or if you just want to know once and for all what the difference is between the three – this is the info session for you!
This session will be presented by research facilitators in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs, and the Sprott School of Business, with commentary by researchers who have served on relevant review committees (Leila Angod, Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies, FASS; Sana Mohsni, Sprott School of Business).
This information session is intended primarily for faculty members who are eligible to hold grants from SSHRC.
