safeTALK is an evidence-based training that equips people to be more alert to someone thinking of suicide and better able to connect them with further help. Using a simple yet effective model, LivingWorks safeTALK empowers everyone to make a difference. What to Expect
This workshop may include the following activities:
- Content warning: training includes topics related to suicide
- Periods of sitting
- Listening to the presentation given by the certified safeTALK trainer
- Viewing and listening to videos (close captioned)
- Discussion and interaction with colleagues
- Viewing a PowerPoint presentation
- Written training booklet is provided in English
