Join us on September 1, 6:30-8:30 PM at Arlington 5 (https://share.google/oNIpORi1umRTHv8be) for an interactive exhibition exploring how clothing can be repurposed, transformed, and cared for in ways that extend its life and open up alternative futures for fashion.
Through participatory and experimental design approaches, this project explores how clothing might stay with us longer, adapt to changing needs, and support more thoughtful relationships with materials and resources. Rather than treating garments as disposable objects, Beyond the Wardrobe invites visitors to imagine clothing as something that can evolve, be cared for, and transformed over time.
Discover experiments in natural dyeing, garment construction, silhouette manipulation, repair, and reimagining. Engage with interactive activities throughout the space and, if you wish, contribute your own reflections and ideas.
Free admission. Registration required: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/beyond-the-wardrobe-tickets-1997973252783
