The Educational Development Centre is extending a special invitation to the Carleton teaching and learning community to join us on August 18 for an open house.

Come and learn more about the services we have to offer. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with some of our staff and discuss how we can support you in your teaching and learning experience at Carleton.

Drop by any time between 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. No registration is required.
We’ll also be hosting a number of educational technology workshops throughout the day, including:

Introduction to cuLearn – 9-10:30 a.m.
Introduction to cuPortfolio – 10:30 a.m. – noon
Teaching with PowerPoint – 1-2:30 p.m.

Poll Everywhere: Student Response Systems and Real-Time Testing – 2:30-4 p.m.
If you’ve ever considered using one of these tools in your courses, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about how they can enhance your classroom experience.
