Please join Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG) for the opening party celebrating three new exhibitions:

The Other NFB: The National Film Board of Canada’s Still Photography Division, 1941-1971
Curated by Carol Payne and Sandra Dyck
Once the federal government's official photographer, the NFB's Still Photography Division is unique in the history of Canadian visual culture. It aspired not just to present an image of Canada, but the image.

Outside These Walls: Photographs by Yannick Anton and David Ofori Zapparoli
Curated by Pamela Edmonds
The photographs of Anton and Zapparoli are both inspired by the people, energies, communities and spaces of the city, past and present.

Making Radio Space in 1930s Canada
Curated by Michael Windover and Anne MacLennan
In the 1930s, radio was considered an essential service, just like the Internet today. This exhibition explores how radio became a domestic technology, transforming the sounds and spaces of everyday life in Canada.

Artists and guest curators will be in attendance. Opening remarks will be at 6:00 p.m. and DJ Memetic will spin live vinyl sets.
