Space Apps Ottawa is an intense 48-hour global weekend hackathon for developers, designers, engineers, entrepreneurs, astronomers and space enthusiasts. Ottawa is one of over 200 cities participating in the NASA International Space Apps Challenge globally. We also have support from the Canadian Space Agency and other government departments and companies.
We begin on Friday October 3 at 7 pm with a welcome event and help getting started and forming teams. Join us in the Lobby of the Nicol Building on the Carleton University Campus.
There are special events throughout the weekend including these:
– Saturday at 11 am is the Canadian Open Data Workshop: the Canadian Space Agency hosts a workshop on useful Canadian data sets
– Saturday at 2 pm is Live Q&A with astronaut Jeremy Hansen
Registered hackathon participants are welcome to join these events.
Hosted by the Technology Innovation Management program (TIM).
