Celebrating Philanthropy: In Defence of Philanthropy

Philanthropy is coming under increasing – and largely unwarranted - attack from multiple directions. Drawing on her expertise in fundraising and forthcoming book, Dr. Breeze offers big ideas’ on the nature and purpose of philanthropy in contemporary society. What are the pressure points on philanthropy in the Canadian and international contexts?

Discussion in the Canadian context by: Paul Nazareth, VP Education and Development, Canadian Association of Gift Planners; Fahad Ahmad, Board Chair, Thousand Currents; and Jennifer Conley, Chief Advancement Officer, Carleton University.

Reception to follow in Richcraft Hall Atrium.
