Carleton University’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) contest is a celebration of graduate student research that challenges grad students to communicate the key concepts of their research in a compelling presentation of three minutes or less. The top three contestants will receive cash prizes, and the first-place winner will compete in the provincial 3MT contest in April.

The 3MT final round, featuring our top 10 contestants, will run from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the conference rooms on the second floor of Richcraft Hall, with judge deliberations and the announcement of the winners to follow. Semifinals will be held in the morning at the same location from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. and from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Students, staff, faculty, and the public are all welcome to attend. No registration required.
