About this Event

Host Organization: Faculty of Public Affairs

Bagels and Banter is a monthly opportunity to discuss shared research and teaching and learning topics with faculty members in a relaxed setting. Learn about new topics, teaching methods and potential research collaborations.

Join Meredith Lilly from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs for a discussion about turning research evidence into public policy. Drawing on her experience going from academia to government and back again has given her unique insights into effective strategies for this process. Lilly was the Foreign Affairs and International Trade Advisor to Canada’s Prime Minister from 2013-2015.

Bagels and Banter is open to all faculty members. Faculty members are encouraged to bring their senior graduate students along.
