Academic Writing for English Language Learners

In order to better serve the diverse community at Carleton University, Writing Services will be offering weekly support sessions in a virtual group setting for Academic Writing for English Language Learners (ELLs). These academic writing support sessions provide an opportunity for ELLs to identify any gaps that exist in their academic writing skills, develop effective writing strategies, and achieve academic success.

This week’s session topic - Nouns: Singular or Plural? Subject/Verb agreement w/ Singular/Plural Subjects; Count, Non-Count or Both?; Make it Countable.
