Have you ever considered a job with the Public Service of Canada? Do you know how to submit a job application? Are you aware that accommodation measures can be made available to you during the appointment process?
Come find out more on October 20, 2014 (from 1 to 4 p.m.). Representatives from the Public Service Commission, the Office for Disability Issues as well as the Paul Menton Centre and Carleton Career Services will be participating in an information session on all these topics. The session is hosted by the READ Initiative (Research, Education, Accessibility and Design) in partnership with Carleton's new living lab, 1125@carleton.
This will be an opportunity to learn more about job opportunities, emerging trends in the labour market, the various employment programs open to students, the advantages of self-declaration as well as accommodation measures available to prospective employees.
Whether you are in first year, graduate school or are about to graduate, you won't want to miss this session!!!
