Carleton University alumni and student reception in Washington, D.C. on April 25 is an opportunity for alumni to network with fellow grads in the Washington D.C. area, as well as meet a group of current students from Carleton's Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) and the School of Public Policy and Administration (SPPA). These students will be in Washington visiting the World Bank, the Wilson Center, the Canadian Embassy and Georgetown, and discovering how their education is applied in the real world.
Program:
6:30 pm Guest arrival, reception
7:00 pm Formal program with special remarks by Calum Carmichael, Director SPPA, and featuring alumni guest speakers:
Laura Dawson, MA/97 NPSIA, PhD, Director, Canada Institute, Wilson Center.
Christine Hogan, BPA/87, Executive Director for Canada, Ireland and the Caribbean, World Bank Group.
Reception includes light refreshments and hors d'oeuvres, cash bar. Open to alumni, students and guests.
