S. Laurel Weldon
Distinguished Professor of Political Science & Director of the Center for Research on Diversity and Inclusion
Purdue University

Professor Weldon is an expert on social movements and social policy. In particular, her work focuses on: the role of social movements in influencing public policy; on violence against women; representation and public policy; women, work and poverty; and on comparative and international research that is global in scope.
