Taking Off: Drones in Canada

With

Jeremy Laliberté
Assistant Professor—Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Carleton University

Drones, remotely piloted aircraft systems, UAVs – whatever they’re called — these aircraft are becoming more and more common in Canadian skies. Canada has become a major player in the drone sector for many reasons. This talk will cover the history, recent developments and ever expanding civilian applications of remotely piloted aircraft systems and how this industry is poised to really take off in the coming years.

Meet your fellow alumni, Dr. Laliberte and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design, Rafik Goubran at this special event.
