About this Event

Host Organization: Science Student Success Centre

Along with marking Canada’s 150th birthday and Carleton University’s 75th anniversary, 2017 is also the 65th anniversary of Carleton’s Department of Biology, School of Mathematics and Statistics, and Department of Physics, as well as the 70th anniversary of the Department of Chemistry. Join us in celebrating this banner year by attending the Science Student Alumni Mixer during Throwback 2017. All Carleton Faculty of Science alumni, current students, staff and faculty members are invited to this annual signature event.

5:30pm Registration

7:00-8:00pm Reception

From 7:00 to 8:00 pm, there will be a reception where alumni can reminisce, students can learn more about career options from successful alumni, and new connections can be created.

Student attendees will be entered to win one of five $50 awards to be placed on their Carleton student accounts. Alumni attendees will also be entered to win prizes and Carleton giveaways. Draws will be done towards the end of the event.
