The Department of University Safety is hosting a RAD Women’s Self Defence course on Saturday, March 9th, 2013 from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. The course is taught by Carleton University staff volunteers who are trained and experienced in issues surrounding sexual assault. The course content consists of a lecture and discussion, as well as a physical component featuring hands-on training of self-defence techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities. Each participant will be provided with a manual and free return policy to any R.A.D. course in North America. Resources for support services are available upon request.
