As part of the summer programming for our current exhibition, “An Embarrassment of Riches: The Collection in Focus,” CUAG has invited three of Ottawa’s most distinguished photographers featured in the exhibition – Lorraine Gilbert, Michael Schreier, and Justin Wonnacott –… to participate in a panel discussion about photography in the Capital.

Moderated by local curator and educator Randy Innes, topics up for discussion will include the role of photography in contemporary Canadian art history, the debate between analogue versus digital photography, the intersection of environment issues and photography, and how Ottawa has been a beneficial or challenging home base throughout their careers.

Join us on Sunday, June 3rd 2012 at 2 pm at the Carleton University Art Gallery for this lively and illuminating discussion on the wide-ranging work of these photographers and their connection to the city of Ottawa.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome!

Paid parking ($2.00 flat rate) is available in all campus lots.
