Dr. Melanee Thomas will be giving a talk titled "Mothers and Others: The Impact of Family Life on Politics." The talk will be held on Thursday February 9th, at 2:30pm in Loeb A602. Pizza and Refreshments will be served. All are welcome to attend.

Melanee Thomas is Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Calgary. Her research focuses on the causes and consequences of gender-based political inequality in Canada and other post-industrial democracies, with a particular focus on political attitudes, behaviour, and engagement.
