Ariel Pakes, Thomas Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at Harvard University, will be visiting Carleton University to discuss “Empirical Tools and Competition Analysis: Past Progress and Current Problems” and “Methodological Issues in Analyzing Market Dynamics” as part of the Annual Distinguished Speaker series of the Centre for Monetary and Financial Economics (CMFE).
