The rise of online education provides new opportunities for students to learn, but also opens new opportunities for them to cheat. Instructors have to anticipate the new techniques online students can use to cheat when they design their courses. There is no single guaranteed method to eliminate cheating in both offline and online courses, and while no institution is cheater-free, instructors can protect academic integrity without having to proctor online tests and exams.

In this interactive and hands-on session, we will discuss how to identify subtle signs of cheating, as well as the various less-costly and non-proctor alternative instructional design tricks that can help prevent cheating in your online/blended courses.
