About this Event

Host Organization: Carleton Northern Research Committee

The Carleton Northern Research Committee invites students and
supervisors who are engaged in field research to a workshop on field
safety in Loeb A211 on March 11, 2016 from 11:30 to 14:30.

We will discuss a variety of issues related to safety in the field
including: roles and obligations, insurance, and planning with safety in
mind.

We are focusing on those who work in remote field conditions but also to
those who work in the North out of communities. If you applied for NSTP
or supervise a student who applied, please attend the workshop if at all
possible. Other students (undergrad and grad), postdocs and faculty are
welcome too!
