Experiential learning is a high-impact practice that can be used in all disciplines. It fosters student engagement in the learning process through collaborative experiences and critical reflective practices.

While experiential learning can be community or work based, this workshop will focus on practical examples of experiential learning in the classroom context. We’ll explore the stages of the experiential learning cycle and reflect on how these can be implemented in your courses. We’ll also explore the challenges of incorporating interactive experiential activities and ways to tackle pitfalls and enhance the learning potential for the students.
