Instructional practices across programs and courses should focus on providing learning experiences that promote inclusive learning environments. Designing an accessibility compliant course is not only the responsibility of the course facilitator, but should be of concern to main stakeholders in web-based course design projects.
You’ll leave this session with information on accessibility industry standards and guidelines, as well as hands-on experience with a step-by-step process for developing accessible layouts, forms, tables and other online course content using the Universal Design for Learning principles.
Prerequisites: Experience with MS Office (or similar tools), cuLearn basics and a laptop
