More Information: Please click here for additional details.

Hosted by the Institute for Data Science, Data Day is an annual conference held in early Spring that celebrates the latest developments in data science and analytics research within the Carleton community and in Canada. The event typically includes presentations by Carleton researchers and industry experts, a keynote address, and a panel discussion. Running concurrently is a poster competition to showcase graduate student research in data science and analytics across all disciplines.

Data Day is open to all data science and analytics enthusiasts, regardless of affiliation to Carleton University. Roughly half of our attendees are from the public and private sectors, while the other half is comprised of Carleton faculty members, staff, and students. This blend of academia and industry creates an ideal environment for multidisciplinary collaboration and networking.

You can look forward to:
- Exciting panel discussions
- Graduate student poster competition
- Innovative research presentations
- Student/Industry speed networking
