In addition to providing an overview of each of the chapters, this book launch will provide detailed information on the dynamics of post-Soviet migration and diasporas and an up-to-date analysis of the impact that Russian and other post-Soviet diaspora are having on their host states in Europe, North America and Central Asia. The book launch will be of interest not only to researchers of diaspora and Post Studies, but representatives of the diplomatic corps, government institutions, diaspora organizations and to the broader multicultural and multiethnic Ottawa community.
