About this Event

Host Organization: Faculty of Public Affairs

Bagels and Banter is a monthly opportunity to discuss shared research and teaching and learning topics with faculty members in a relaxed setting. Learn about new topics, teaching methods and potential research collaborations.

Join Christopher Stoney (School of Public Policy and Administation) for a discussion about transportation policy in Canada and the opportunities for a centre of expertise at Carleton.

A centre of expertise will allow faculty and students from across the campus and beyond to focus on transportation issues and the many interdisciplinary opportunities for collaboration it provides. In particular, technological advances and the need for strategic infrastructure investment require Canadian policy makers to consider economic, environmental, governance and regulation in relation to transportation in addition to the technical, engineering and political challenges this brings.

Join us to discuss.

Bagels and Banter is open to all faculty members. Faculty members are encouraged to bring their senior graduate students along.
