About this Event

Host Organization: Faculty of Public Affairs

Bagels and Banter is a monthly opportunity to discuss shared research and teaching and learning topics with faculty members in a relaxed setting. Learn about new topics, teaching methods and potential research collaborations.

Join Stacy Douglas (Department of Law and Legal Studies) for a discussion about social media as a teaching tool.

@stacy_douglas (winner of the 2014-2015 Faculty of Public Affairs Teaching Excellence Award and the 2015 New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award) is a frequent tweeter and uses social media in her teaching. She will lead a discussion about the pros and cons, questions and challenges about this communication medium in the classroom.

Join us to discuss.

Bagels and Banter is open to all faculty members. Faculty members are encouraged to bring their senior graduate students along.
