A roundtable with participants discussing a range of topics including the recent developments in Iran, Iraq, Syria, and the Middle East; the results of the Canada-EU Summit and the opportunities for bilateral trade and investment; Eastern Ukraine and Russia energy security, and Canada’s role as a global energy leader; and the situation in Ukraine as a follow-up on the NATO Summit.

Moderated by Professor David Long, Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA), participants include Mr. Václáv Bálek, Political Director, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Czech Republic; Mr. Marcin Bosacki, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Canada; Mr. Ĺubomir Rehák, Political Director, Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic; Mr. Szabolcs Takács, Deputy State Secretary, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Hungary; and Mrs. Carla Wursterová, Executive Director of the International Visegrád Fund.
